MEP speaks to Year 10 pupils at Worcester County Hall as part of Democracy Week

Worcestershire's LibDem Euro MP Liz Lynne is due to speak to pupils from two local schools at County Hall as part of the Democracy Week events today Friday, October 16th.

Liz Lynne will be representing the Liberal Democrats at the event, which is being organised by Worcestershire County Council.

Liz will address the pupils aged 14 to 15 from The Chase Technology College (Malvern) and Bishop Perowne CofE College (Worcester) for a speech and questions from 11.40 until 12 noon and join a panel discussion from 12.05 until 12.30pm.

She will talk about her work representing Worcestershire in the European Parliament for the last 10 years and explaining the different responsibilities of the European and Westminster Parliaments.

Liz Lynne is one of the few MEPs to have also served at Westminster, as she was a Liberal Democrat MP from 1992 until 1997.
